Salient feature

Press roll to be used in the manufacture line of lithium ion battery is, in many cases, used under high pressure, which accelerates the abrasion of chrome plating surface of roll, brings about the problem to be forced to replace roll frequently. Since roll replacement work takes whole day and charges heavy cost burden, the Company got the request form customer to give longer life to roll and reduce the frequency of roll replacement. In order to cope with this problem, the Company satisfied the requirement by striking R-62 Chrome Plating (being high hardness chrome plating, 15 % hardness increase compared with conventional chrome plating) which the Company originally developed by itself to roll surface, obtaining longer life of roll and slashing replacement frequency of roll.
