Compound composition rolls : Salient feature

Nomura Plating is producing rolls in having special surface finishing characteristics by means of combining plating technology with fluoro-resin technology and curving process technology. The Company has two kind of Compound composite roll s of “Jaguar Roll” and “Tiger Roll” that can be utilized according to their characteristics respectively. Both “Jaguar Roll” and “Tiger roll” have salient feature of being non-pollution ability and scratch resistance ability created by hard chrome and Teflon and of being superior in mold releasing property and lubrication. The Compound composite roll is developed as Teflon roll to which doctor is effective. Jaguar roll has been used for dryer roll and paper roll after size press and coater.

”Jaguar roll” and “Tiger roll” being as compound composite roll have superiority of hard to be stained and scratched because of the coexistence of hard chrome and Teflon on the roll surface. “Jaguar roll” is a roll of which surface is plated with chrome plating layer and of which groove is coated with fluoro-resin. “Tiger roll” is a roll processed with chrome plating to the roll surface which was pre-treated by machining (spiral or curving process) of which grooved portion was coated with fluoro-resin that was finished by grinding to produce the uniform flat surface of chrome surface and fluoro-resin surface.
