Long-size CFRP chrome plating rolls : Salient feature

CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics) roll is thermoset of the carbon fiber which was made by calcinated of acrylic fiber impregnated with thermosetting resin in winding roll shape. It has been generally called carbon roll which has the characteristics of being light weight while being strong. Nomura Plating can process chrome plating directly to long-size CFRP roll, capitalizing on its own developed surface finishing technology. Chrome plating can be given with minimum 300μm. Thin film plating can create further light weight property.
